After building his career at Oliver Peoples, he opened his own select shop, A.KINNEY COURT, in Venice, California with a friend in the fall of 2009. In addition to eyewear, the shop also sells clothes, sneakers, and music CDs, and its style that mixes various cultures has attracted attention. Influenced by artists, musicians, and designers with whom he is close friends, he launched his own brand, GARRETT LEIGHT CALIFORNIA OPTICAL, in 2011.
